This blog site is not just about  software testing, it is also about friendship!  It is easier to find new jobs than to find true friends especially in an industry where competition can be fierce.  Thanks to the initial contributors. Our QA Team are truly friends after all these years ;-) We are indeed blessed for despite the apparent cultural differences and geographical distance, we continue to respect and look after one another.

Why?

To give back to the profession which has played a big part of my life over the last decade.

This site is dedicated to the profession which I am passionate about. The profession is called by many names, but we’ll go by the most popular — Quality Assurance ( QA) or Software Testing. We are called QA Analysts / Software Testers ;-) . In the office, we are simply called “QAs”. So most of the time, we will refer to ourselves in this website as “QAs or QA”.

Our  goals (or product requirements) is simply to have a space where we can :

  • Share
  • Learn
  • Gain new friends
  • Help!
  • Have fun
  • Etc ( we’ll add more as we go along)

This is not a place for :

  • Rants, foul languages
  • Complaints about your managers
  • Attacking Developers, PMs, BAs

What’s with the name? It sounds like .. yes, I know.

Our job used to have a very negative, bad image to it.  But that is changing. We can help change that. Only us knows that at the end of the day, our job can really be so much fun and very fulfilling ! To be able to contribute to the overall quality of a software product that is used by so many happy clients is just amazing. We’ll discover that as we share more insights about our unique role in the software development.

This should be good for now!

Hope you have as much fun browsing our site as  much as we have fun creating this!

God bless,

Tess Rupprecht

P.S. This part always get read ! Yes, I am a Christian.
